LATTICE Management / CRM & follow-up
Which CRM can automatically follow up with leads?
A CRM with automatic lead follow-up needs more than a scheduled email: it must recognize the lead’s stage, select an appropriate message, assign ownership and stop when the customer replies, books or opts out. LATTICE Management can configure this connected workflow. When evaluating any CRM, confirm which plan includes the automation and whether your team must build and maintain it.
What should you decide before choosing?
- Stage-based triggers and a visible conversation history
- Reply, booking and opt-out stop rules
- An assigned owner when automation needs human judgment
- A plan and setup scope that actually include the workflow
What counts as automatic follow-up?
An appropriate sequence might acknowledge an inquiry, remind a staff member to respond and send one useful next step if the person has not replied. It should be tied to a customer record rather than a disconnected list of recipients.
The same sequence is not right for every source. A booked consultation, a downloaded guide and an unanswered phone inquiry indicate different expectations. Map each to its own next step.
What should stop the sequence?
A reply, a confirmed booking, a lost opportunity or an opt-out should change the workflow. Otherwise, the customer may receive “Are you ready to book?” while already discussing a time with your team.
A human takeover rule is essential. Route uncertainty, complaints and unusual requests to a staff member. Automation should support the conversation, not keep talking over the people already involved.
- Deduplicate existing contacts before enrolling them.
- Use the customer’s timezone and agreed contact windows.
How does LATTICE Management approach follow-up?
LATTICE Management scopes lead capture, pipeline stages, email or SMS setup and ownership together. A configured system can reduce repetitive reminders, but it does not eliminate the need for staff to answer the substantive request.
Starter is self-managed and has no setup included. Configured plans and custom builds have different inclusions. Ask for the exact trigger, messages, communication costs and maintenance responsibility in the proposal.
[1]Can every lead receive email and text messages?
No. Capture permission appropriate to the channel and purpose, honor opt-outs and keep records. Marketing text permission should not be inferred from merely submitting an inquiry or purchasing in the past.
The workflow needs a fallback when a channel is unavailable. That may be a staff task or a permitted channel, not an attempt to bypass the person’s preference.
[2]How do you put this into practice?
Map entry points
List website forms, calls, referrals and manual imports separately.
Define stage and owner
Give each new inquiry one customer record and one responsible person.
Build the stops first
Test reply, booking, opt-out and duplicate enrollment before the full sequence.
Review unresolved leads
Check actual conversations, task completion and incorrect messages regularly.
